I know I have not blogged in a while, but with the presidential campaign getting into high gear I have a lot to say. So let me start with this first quick nugget. I would like to thank Mitt Romney for choosing Paul Ryan as his running mate. While some in the media are calling this a "bold" pick (Our friend Sara Palin was also "bold") , in a few days there tune will change. Currently the house GOP approval rating is hovering around 10%. One of the fearless leaders that helped them gain that popularity is none other then Paul Ryan. He wrote the GOP house budget which is just a tad more popular then Osama Bin Laden was on September 12, 2001. I would like to point out that Ryan's plan to gut Medicare will surely help Mitt in Florida, Iowa, and Pennsylvania where there above average elderly populations.
Oh, and then there is that little thing where Ryan wants to ban many different forms of birth control. Another popular stance with "independents" .
